I first contacted Mr. Kerr about 5 months before my wedding in May of 2011. He was very punctual in calling and emailing me back, and just seemed very personable. He told me all the details of how the reception would go, and sent me a huge list of songs to choose from. He came to my reception site the week before the wedding, and worked around what I wanted. He had a schedule of how the reception was going to go, so I didn't have to worry about anything.
When it came time for the reception, he played all the songs my husband and I picked out, and followed the schedule perfectly. It was nice to just be able to relax and not have to worry about when we were going to cut the cake, toss the bouquet, etc. Mr. Kerr and his assistant were very professional and even included pictures and a dvd of the reception. Our family and friends were talking about what a great job he did, and how great the lights and sound were. We would recommend Mr. Kerr again because he is so great at what he does!!

I contacted Mark to DJ a dance for the new students during orientation at Centenary College after receiving a recommendation of him from a friend. The goal for the night was to have a fun, light hearted dance that everyone would enjoy. The variety of music and the fun, interactive way that Mark delivered the experience made for a great night. The light show was awesome!
Working with Mark was a great experience as he was organized, timely, and helpful in accommodating our specific requests. Highlights and pictures of the event were included and were fun to look back on. The pricing was reasonable and the event was a raging success. Thanks Mark for helping us kick off the school year right!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the DJ service you provided for my daughter's wedding reception. You are truly a class act! You took the time to understand exactly what she wanted and the execution was excellent. Not only did you follow the plan, you interacted and kept the party going. All the feedback I've received has been glowing, you are a true professional.
But not only do you throw a great party, you are a joy to work with. You communicate throughout the entire process, and I was totally comfortable that you would do exactly what you said you would do. That is tremendously important when planning a wedding! Your equipment was first rate, dress was impeccable, and you have a great voice and presence. There are no worries when you are booked for an event.
Your wife was a fantastic assistant in addition to being charming and talented lady. The pictures and video were a great addition. In the moment, things go by in a blur. Watching the video brought back all those special moments. We will cherish it!
You can be sure if I have a need for a DJ I will be a repeat customer…and will recommend you to any one I know that is looking for a great DJ!

(Stress Off My Shoulders)
My husband and I chose Mark Kerr Entertainment as our DJ for our wedding reception. I have to say I was more than please with our decision. When we received a packet in the mail to fill out for the reception, I was amazed at how detailed Mark likes the party to be. It was solely based off of what we wanted and how we wanted the entertainment to go. We chose not only what we wanted to hear but he also wanted to know what we didn't want to be played. I was extremely satisfied as to see during that night that all of our decisions were upheld and nothing was done without our agreement.
Mark also contacted me multiple times before that night to make sure everything was as to my likings. I honestly felt that he took the time and effort to get to know me, which made the night spectacular and very organized. As the bride I felt overwhelmed when we arrived, trying to remember "what do we do next". But with Mark Kerr Entertainment, I never had to worry. With all the chaos that comes with the reception, Mark reminded during the reception as to what was next (first dance, cutting of the cakes, garter and bouquet toss). I felt this took a lot of pressure off my shoulders which I could not have been happier. Thank you Mark Kerr for your exceptional professionalism for entertaining. I would choose no other entertainment for any reception or party events.

I am very impressed with Mark Kerr Entertainment. My husband and I recently booked him for our event and we are so pleased. The lights, sound equipment and video equipment were fabulous. Mr. Kerr's communication throughout our entire wedding reception planning process was excellent. He is very personable and we were very pleased with the way the party turned out. He had a professional A/V setup and he kept the party flowing very nicely. He took requests in stride and played a selection of music tailored to our crowd. Trust me! You will be glad you have Mark Kerr as the entertainment at your function. This was our first wedding and my daughter did the research and found out about Mark. I was a little skeptical - web sites can say anything. Seemed very detailed and experienced - so, let's give it a shot... Well, he was a major hit! First, he was setting up as I was putting up extra things at the reception venue. He came over, introduced himself, and asked if there were any changes or anything else he could do. When we arrived with the wedding party, the "party" was already going... The music was great, totally personalizable, everyone was dancing.
The setup was professional and elegant - first class all the way - great sound system, laser lights, smoke if you want it. He was a great "MC" when you needed one - time to cut the cake, mother-groom or bride-father dance... you get the picture. One of the best things with Mark was his "pre-function" checklist. What song do you want for the bride and groom first dance? What song do you want to
arrive to? What song do you want... for anything. He also lists things
that are cool - that you may not have thought of - longest married couples dance was my favorite! As you can tell, we had a great experience and think that you will, too. Several people said "This must
have cost a fortune!" - just nod and say, "Well, it was worth it!" You
don't have to tell them the details.

Hello my name is Pamela. I want to send a few praising words to Mark Kerr and his lovely wife for making our event so special .Without you it would not have been so much fun ! I have to admit I was a little worried about using Kerr Entertainment.. just because I found him online.Thank GOD for good and honest people ! You guys made everything go just perfect ! I was so pleased with everthing, you made my daughters 18th birthday party an unforgetable night !
Our party was very cool , Mark had the whole room lit up with disco lights,the sound of music was great, plenty of thumping bass and what not, there was even fog !!
Brittany and her friends had a blast ! I especially enjoyed the spotlight and introduction of our birthday girl ! After careful consideration of DJs for our wedding reception, I decided to go with Mark Kerr. He was so friendly and I knew he would be good, because he covered every base, making sure the music and entertainment was exactly what I wanted! He used a detailed form to gather information about the wedding party and music style. He kept in contact very well throughout the process. Needless to say, our wedding day and reception were perfect! Oh, and I should mention that surely somewhere he stated they would be taking pictures and video--that was something I missed, because after the wedding when he called me saying the pictures and video were finished, I was completely caught off guard--in a good way! So, in every aspect, I recommend him! His music is great, the entertainment is great, he's a great emcee, good prices, and most of all, he seemed to be an all around great guy, which was a bonus! So, thanks to Mark Kerr for making our reception great! It was a night we won't ever forget!
