Mark Kerr has been a professional in the entertainment industry for thirty one years. He toured the United States for thirteen years with professional tour bands, entertaining at Show Clubs, Weddings, Corporate Events, Parties and more.
During Mark's thirteen year stint on the road, he played with such greats as "Percy Sledge" and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, "Curtis Mayfield's Impressions." As well as sharing the stage with some of the hottest bands from the sixties and seventies.
Mark was inducted into the National Heritage Blues Hall of Fame for his innovative guitar work on his CD, "One Drink Away From The Blues." "One Drink Away From The Blues," gained International attention on FM and Internet radio, and earned Mark a nomination for, Musician of the Year in 2006 by the Academy of Texas Music.
Mark has been a professional disc jockey for the past six years. He worked for Gap Broadcasting in Shreveport, LA. and KCOR in Kansas City, Kansas. Mark currently has the number one blues / rock radio show on Google, Yahoo & MSN called, "Mark Kerr's Blues Nation".
